 Motorola 9570 Portable Dock
What is it?
The Motorola 9570 Portable Dock adds various features to your Satellite Series (TM) 9500 and 9505 Portable Phone. You can insert the 9505 Portable Phone into the dock and take advantage of additional batteries for extended talk and standby time. (Note: The 9505 Portable Phone requires the 9505 Adapter for the Portable Dock.)
Why do you need it?
Ideal as a permanent or temporarily installed desk or wall phone utilizing one of our externally mounted optional antennas.
Features:
Enable Portable Subscriber Unit operations in a flexible configuration using the available AC/DC power, optional Auto Accessory Adapter, or optional auxiliary batteries
Fixed unit for in-building usage, securable to either a horizontal (desk) or vertical (wall) surface
Transportable with integrated handle
Provides charging for Satellite Phone and up to 2 additional batteries when connected to external power source (High Capacity and/or Standard batteries only)
With additional batteries, the Portable Dock can power itself in remote applications or provide battery backup for power outage situations, up to 8 hours talk or 27 hours standby time
Uses the same standard and high capacity batteries that power the 9500 Portable Phone
Lightweight passive handset for private communication
Speakerphone for conferencing
External antenna applications:
Provides TNC connector for external antenna connection
Using Mobile Magnetic Mount antenna or Portable auxiliary antenna for in-vehicle applications
Using 10 meter cable and Fixed Mast antenna for building, marine or site specific applications
Data port for access to Iridium data services
Auxiliary Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card reader for shared use environment
